During a storm-induced Wi-Fi outage, Clover devices can still keep your business running by connecting to personal hotspots. By unlocking your device with the Admin passcode and navigating to "Device Settings" > "Network," you can quickly connect to an active Wi-Fi hotspot on your phone. Alternatively, many Clover devices offer built-in SIM card support for LTE, ensuring continued connectivity when Wi-Fi isn't available. Activate LTE by unlocking the device, opening the "Setup" app, selecting "Cellular Data," and tapping “Activate” on the right, then tap “Activate” again to confirm.

In addition, for iPhone users, tap-to-pay functionality can be activated and utilized instead of an invoice, just simply add items to cart or enter the amount and select “Done” then in the next screen tap “Tap to pay on iPhone” to complete the transaction on the App. This flexibility ensures that your business continues to operate smoothly, even when traditional hardware isn’t available.
