App Feature: Simplify Employee Shifts with “Shifts” App
For many merchants, managing a large service team can feel overwhelming, particularly when it comes to setting shift schedules and determining employee pay. These instances can be especially stressful in restaurant settings when tips and gratuities are in play.
This is where the Clover Shifts app comes in. The app is a must-have for businesses aiming to streamline employee management. With Shifts, tracking clock-ins, organizing schedules, calculating tips, and monitoring hours becomes much easier, keeping operations smooth and records accurate. This ensures your team is well-coordinated, and payroll stays accurate, promoting a well-organized and productive work environment.
Clover Shifts App is designed with features that simplify Employee management. Employees can easily clock in and out using the Clock icon at the bottom right of the main Shifts menu. Managers can track who’s clocked in, start times, and shift lengths. The app also records daily tips and cash tenders for end-of-shift cash settlements. With the “Print Report” feature, merchants can print summaries of sales, refunds, and tips, including cash settlements. Additionally, the settings menu have options for clock-in prompts after login and restricts clock-out if employees have open orders, ensuring smooth operations and accurate reporting.
Clover Shifts app is also integrated on the Clover online dashboard. When logging into the dashboard, on the left hand menu selections, choose Shifts. Similarly to the app on Clover devices, merchants and managers can track employees shifts via date ranges and also export the total shifts during that time period through an excel spreadsheet.
Shifts app is available to download for Free in the App market for various Clover devices.
